10 Gift Ideas For Baby's First Christmas!

Who loves Christmas!? I know I do.. Well guess what? It’s almost here! The shopping has begun BUT are you having a hard time deciding what to get your little one?

During months 6 to 12 your baby is learning tons of new skills in such a short period of time. From rolling over, sitting up on their own, to crawling, and pulling up. There is just so much going on, and their brains continue to develop at a fast pace. My son will be turning 9 months right before Christmas and I want to get him toys that will promote his development and also keep him entertained.

In this Christmas list I am providing some of his current favorite toys along with some that he will definitely be receiving for Christmas! They have been highly recommended by other mammas so I just wanted to share!

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn First Words Smart Puppy

Recommended age: 9 months to 3 years

The fisher-price laugh & learn first words smart puppy has 8 first words blocks that swipe across the “magical” reader. By doing this it activates songs, sounds, and phrases. The buttons teach colors, shapes, and counting while the blocks teach about objects, food, and animals. This toy has 3 smart stages so that your child continues the learning experience as they grow. Seriously, the number #1 toy on my sons Christmas list this year. You can never go wrong with a toy that helps develop a child’s learning abilities.

Fisher-Price Dance & Groove Rockit

Recommended Age: 6 months to 3 years

I LOVE the Fisher-Price Dance & Groove Rockit! I have this already for my son so it is not on his Christmas list but he loves it. He basically takes his hand and smacks this toy just so he can hear it talk. It dances “rocks” back and forth and sings encouraging your little one to play long. It has 3 learning stages so that as your little one grows they can continue to learn different content. You also can record your voice and hear it play back – ha I learned this by not knowing my son was pushing back the hand and recording me talking to him.

Playskool Explore N’ Grow Busy Ball Popper

Recommended Age: 9 months to 3 years

The Playskool Explore N’ Grow Busy Ball Popper is another toy that I am excited about. Added to the Christmas list! This toy will keep your baby laughing as the balls are dropped and popped out. Not only does this toy keep your little one entertained, it is also helping them learn their fine and gross motor skills while also helping them with eye tracking.
