So, I know it’s a little late in the game, BUT I’m am finally finding the time to share my goals for 2019! Let’s just say #MOTHERHOOD! So, let’s talk goals – everyone needs them! Personally, they motivate me, and I know if I put my mind to it, I can achieve all of them. All I need is hard work and a LOT of coffee!
A quick tip for goal setting: write your goals down and look at them every day as a reminder.. maybe set some time to make a vision board – I am going to be doing that this year.
So, what are my goals for the new year?
GETTING 2 BLOG POSTS OUT A WEEK
I have been blogging a little over six months and I will admit it has been very hard to get content out every single week. I have so many ideas overflowing in my head, BUT I always put my family first and things have been a little hectic here. Learning to balance everything with a baby is also a job but now that I have the hang of things, I want to get better at getting quality content out each week. My goal is to be able to share great content on motherhood, blogging and my lifestyle just in general. Please, if you ever want me to go over a topic – you can email me at email@example.com. I love ideas from my readers!
WORKING WITH BRANDS
Up until now I just have been working on my blog and sharing tips on motherhood, but now that I’m starting to grow my presence on social media I want to work more with brands. The goal this year is to start pitching to more brands and getting information about products that I love and enjoy to my readers. I will say that I will only work with brands that I love and trust! You will never receive false information from me.
FOCUSING ON MY HEALTH
I used to be very into fitness and then life got a little busy. I stopped being super healthy like I was and so my goal this year is to slowly get myself back to where I was. I bought some fitness equipment for my house because #MOMLIFE makes it a little hard to get to the gym every single day plus working out at home is FREE! I love eating healthy and now I just need to fit a small 30-minute workout into my day.
PRACTICE MORE SELF-CARE
This is so important! Everyone needs to invest sometime into their own self-care. I know as a mom I’m constantly on the go, thinking about everyone else, and sometimes I just need to slow down and think about me also. This means spending more time doing things that will make me happy. If I’m happy I know that I will be able to be a better wife to my husband and mom to my son.
SPEND LESS TIME ON THE PHONE
I know I know… this is kind of hard when you are trying to build a business through social media. The thing is, family is super important, and I want to make sure that I’m giving the important ones in my life attention. Life is short – your babies grow fast. I don’t want to miss a single thing in my son’s life even when we are just sitting at home. Also, I have an good marriage with my husband and I want to be able to focus on him without all my attention being on my phone.
GET TO KNOW MY FOLLOWERS MORE
Alright, so there are a ton of you and I grow every single day, but I do want to engage more with everyone. I love knowing the people that I am following and are following me. Building loyal friendships is what is important. I want all my followers to be able to feel they can talk to me and ask me anything and I will be there to help.
CREATE AN ONLINE COURSE
So, I love being able to teach people and that’s why I decided to not only to write about motherhood and lifestyle, but I wanted to implement teaching how to build a blog. My goal is to complete an online course by the end of the year to help other mommas build their blogging career.
So, there you have it – my goals for 2019. I’m sure as time goes on, I will start to create more goals but currently I want to work on these and I’m so excited. 2019 is my year to grow not only in my blogging career but in my life. I do want to say that I’m so happy that I decided to take the leap into blogging. In these short six months that I have been doing it and learning I have met amazing people. The number of amazing bloggers that are out there supporting one another is incredible and I love the blogging community.
To everyone who has taught me everything I have learned in blogging so far – thank you! Let’s kick ass in 2019!
